Practical advices for a travel with positive impact

We are committed to offer the best travel experience, protecting the environment and the cultural diversity of Peru. These tips will have a deep impact on the communities and places that you will visit.

DURING THE EXCURSIONS AND CAMPINGS
Always follow your guide instructions. After your personal cleanliness throw the dirty water in rocky or sandy areas, or without vegetation, far from rivers or water sources. Clean the area before leaving.

DURING VISITS TO NATURAL AND CULTURAL AREAS
When visiting archaeological sites, keep to authorised & well travel path and only during visitor hours. Opening hours at tourist attraction are fixed and subject to regulations. Keep the rubbish in a plastic bag. Use rechargeable batteries. When we throw a battery, it can poison agriculture fields, animals and children, even 167.000 litres of water. Avoid feeding, touching or bothering wild animals. Keeping a prudent distance and using good binoculars you will be able to appreciate the fauna in its natural state. Do not use radios or other appliances during the excursions, in order to better enjoy the visit and appreciate the nature. Protect the historical and natural heritage. Never buy original archaeological objects or wild animals. Please report any irregularity to your guide or in your final Satisfaction Survey at the end of the trip.

DURING VISITS TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES
Respect the traditions. Try to learn some words in local languages. Your interest will motivate local people to continue keeping their culture. Buy handicrafts and local products, this is the best way to thank for hospitality. If you would like to donate medicine, we advise you to coordinate directly with a hospital or medical centre. When arriving home, share with your family and friends your experience. Actively participate in projects focus on the protection of nature and archaeology

WHEN CAMPING
Throw dirty water in rocky or sandy areas, or without vegetation, far from rivers or water sources. Clean the area before leaving.
